19.04.2010 - Stainless Steel
has earned the prestigious "Edelstahl Rostfrei" (Stainless Steel) seal of quality. The seal stands for material and economical durability. making our products sustainable also from an ecological perspective. The low maintainance costs compensate already after a short time the higher investment costs. That is why Stainless Steel is still the raw material of the future.
Especially in the food processing industry security, efficiency and resistance to corrosion are very important characteristics of materials. Water resistance and the resistance against aggressive bases and acids guarantee the tasteless production of food and beverages.
800 years ago merchants from all over the world settled down on the crossing of two important trading roads, the Via Imperii (North – South – route) and the Via Regia (East-West-Route). They founded the settlement Lipz, today´s “Leipzig” (in Latin: LIPSIA).

Since then LIPSIA has been standing for trade, open-minded people and innovation as well as technical and cultural progress. As the oldest trade fair place in Europe Leipzig developed to a centre of book-art, culture, trade, science and mechanical engineering.
Prominent people, as Goethe, Schiller, Bach, Mendelssohn or Heisenberg worked and lived here. In autumn ´89 Leipzig was the starting spark for the peaceful revolution in Germany.

We as LIPSIA Fördertechnik GmbH wants to combine tradition and progress and is able to provide effective solutions in the area of material handling technology for national and international customers.

Whether food or non-food, continuous or uncontinuous, piece goods or bulk, system-solution or single components, your product will arrive its destination.
History of company

In 1995, Graduate Engineer Steffen Hahn founded a mechanical engineering company with specialization in material-handling technology. At the outset only constructed conveyors, later an own fabrication was added in Leipzig.

Due to increasing orders, the company moved to the industrial park Brandis in 1999. 2 years later, the factory building was doubled in size and several new offices were built.
To handle the increased order number properly, another factory building was attached in June 2008.
